Pastor
Andrew Lee
Lead Pastor
Andrew’s journey with Christ began early. Raised in a home where church was a central part of family life, he heard the good news about Jesus dying to pay for sins from a very young age. However, it wasn’t until a time when his mother lovingly confronted him about his behavior that he grasped the personal significance—that Jesus died for his sins. This led him to embrace Christ’s gift of salvation personally.
Andrew completed a master’s degree in counseling and a Master of Divinity prior to working full time as a pastor. He has served in several roles as an assistant pastor, interim pastor, and Pastor for Discipleship and Outreach.
In 2023, God opened a door for Andrew and his family to plant a church through a church planting residency at Lakewood Baptist Church. In January of 2024, the pastors and congregation of Lakewood voted to send a team of people from Lakewood to plant Risen Hope Church.
Andrew, his wife Elizabeth, and their kids love hiking (especially in National Parks!), family bike rides, reading together, and playing games with friends! He is passionate about helping people to understand how the Bible guides them to experience vibrant relationships with God and the people around them. Andrew desires to equip the members of Risen Hope Church to be a welcoming family of Jesus’ followers who care deeply for each other and those in their surrounding community.
Pastor
Adam Stoeckler
Lay Pastor
Adam serves as a pastor with a heart for shepherding God’s people through the teaching of Scripture and prayerful leadership. He came to saving faith in Christ shortly after college, after being confronted by the clear message of the gospel and coming to grips with his own sin and need for grace. As a new Christian, it was the faithful Bible teaching he listened to, along with reading Knowing God by J. I. Packer which played a significant role in shaping his faith and awakening a desire to help others know God through His Word.
One of Adam’s greatest joys is helping people understand the Bible in ways that are accessible, meaningful, and life-giving. Adam and his wife, Baognia, are raising their three children—Abraham, Trinity, and Kessid—and see their family as a gift from the Lord and a key part of their life and ministry. In his free time, Adam enjoys reading, drinking far too much coffee, playing chess, cheering for the Green Bay Packers—the only team worth cheering for—and enjoying a good laugh.
